With Groove Quantize ,you can make some Things, that you never can play in Real or repetitive.

Groove templates as non destructive Play setting per Track.
The Sequencer play the Template in the first Repetition
And believe me: Then you go play other Kind of rytmic Music :)

It is boring, thats why I learned what your talking about 10 years ago. Your also limiting yourself :?:

Maybe the step sequencer in the Touch can help you out, I haven't dug to deep but it does automation fast. As to what parameters, I have yet to find out.

I PLAY THE MPC LIKE A DRUMMER OR KEYBOARDER MOSTLY

You mean to turn the timer off? And get the swing from there?

never i mean ,i am playing live with the quantize button on........
generally, i wish a groove quantize funktion with different micro timing groove templates.
timing templates shoves the individual notes variable in miliseconds forward or backward .
then the sequencer plays timing from a template matrix .
you can make templates from your own recording-audio to midi .midifiles ,audio loops, etc.

Why is akai going to listen to a feature request that only a few people seem to want?
People in this thread is answering with a clear "we don't need that feature". There are a lot of more usefull and basic features that need to be added first. Don't get me wrong, not trying to diss anyone here, and I don't care if they add this feature or not, but if they do I won't be fighting against it either, the more features the best.
In reason there is that thing called ReGroove that does that, it is very flexible and easy to use but at the end of the day me personally don't ever use it. I guess in this forum people tend more to go unquantize than quantized, because of the reasons Caustic Yoda mentioned in his last post, the personal touch I guess.
There is a feature request subforum, not trying to be an smart ass here, where I believe that Akai use to look at for users feature requests(you all probably knew that already).
Also, masada, a known beta tester for akai mpc series (correct me if I'm wrong) has opened a thread about our most wanted features after 1.9 , where I think is a good place to post our requests to be heard.

Because only a few people groove professionally. Also in this post responded the wrong people:

Akai ,please make bananas into my MPC ,because MPC sequencer sounds so stiff in a higher tempo .
This is a good diskussion-
The same like : Why doesn't akai install a washmachine in your badroom although your laundry is dirty.

Some thick global groove-quantize Imperator's; have justly to use it . AMEN 1 original
I do not want to explain but
this feature brings better results
a fortiori for different rytmen, tempis and styles
It's makes more fun and is faster and it's straight forward and reusable.
no one can play this self
everyone can instantly with a global groove setting
but For best results, you need some experience and emotion
Allow me now to dispense with justifications . amen part2 .
Let me see : This is my last text in this post .Do you what you want . Amen finale part 3
Yours jolly. Groove is the Power of Music
