Roland operating systems can be abysmal, so hopefully they've put some thought into this new sampler.

It's obviously a mock up.

Akai's new technology is based on USB audio and data transport.

And for video output they will use HDMI.

that's it.. i mean there is nothing to hate on a lot of their products besides that. you can list features and see they are really capable, but getting to that end result can be **** time consuming. I made an album with an mv, but it was at the point i was making the beats on 2 different mpc models and finishing them up with the mv just so i could skip passed some shit i didn't wanna deal with.... and worst part about it, i was dealing with floppy disks on both those mpcs.

The font type and color of Roland and MV-9000 is different, if there's one coming this is definitely not the leak of the actual unit...this is definitely back of mv-8800, this might have been used as indication there's one coming

I think a new MV would be a lot more sleeker than the 8800, no need for a built in hard drive and memory sticks. that pic looks just like the 8800,hmmm.

It was rumored to be a hybrid like the SP-606. So I'm hoping it's either that or a standalone.
