On my computer (windows 7) the NI plugins were installed in C:/program files/Native Instruments/ VST plugins, I had to copy them into my main VST folder for the MPC to scan them.

Is komplete 10 32bit or 64bit. If its 32bit and you run the MPC software in 64bit it will not find komplete, but if you run the MPC software in 32 bit it will find it. I had to figure this out the hard way.

Question: do you have to reauthorize Komplete after you load it in your Ren ? I used an effect in my Studio on one of my outs and wound up having to reactivate it if I wanted to keep using it in my daw.given some of the negative posts about NI throughout the net, I am very wary of NI

You do have to start some of the programs standalone before you use them as a plugin. You only have to do it once though.

yeah maybe that was my problem, I havent used all the vsts that came with komplete and thought it might be interesting to try an effect in my mpc. Next time I opened my NI service center it scanned and prompted me to buy/demo that effect.

Thanks
