I'm thinking about buying a Microkorg and have a question about triggering samples from the MPC with the Microkorg:

Is it possible to multi-pitch a sample from the MPC over the keys of the Microkorg? I'm thinking here of how the ASR-10 can multi-pitch samples across its keys.

Microkorg sends midi out, so if your MPC has a Instrument program (like the 1000 and 2500) you can use your MK as a midi controller.

Also, you can record midi and send it back in to the MK to play a synthpatch. (mpc midi out, mk midi in)

Good luck.

Which MPC are you using? My knowledge of newer models is admittedly limited, but the older models (2K & before) can't do what you're asking about. For that, you'd need one of the dedicated rack samplers.
