Auria Pro is almost finished with beta testing, and the developer mentioned a late November release. I wonder if it'll support AU plugins.

Korg iDS10 for iPhone is out and can also run on an iPad. If you remember the DS-10 for Nintendo DS, then you'll have fun with this. They also added a voice synth im which you can type out lyrics, just like Attack Drums. There's no connectivity (AB or IAA) yet. But I'm sure they might add AB as they did with iElectribe for iPhone.

This is really nice but it's a bit too fiddly on the iPhone for me. I might just pick up an iPad Air 2 in the new year and call time on iPhone music apps.

I got an iPhone 4s, so it won't even work. But that screen is too small anyway. Only the 64 bit iphones and ipads are supported. If this app gets audiobus support, I'll be happy. But it's still quite capable on it's own. Grab that iPad Air 2 if you're gonna get a good deal on it. But just make sure it's powerful enough for any other apps you wanna use. My iPad Mini 2 has an A7 processor. So it aint bad. Not sure what the iPad Air 2 has. But just make sure it's at least an A7.

I think it's the A8X but I'd have to check. My Mom just got one for her 60th and I think it's probably the ideal size for a tablet. I'm guessing the iPad Pro would be a bit too cumbersome in comparison.

Yeah it's the A8X. Definitely good with the iPad Air 2.

The iPad Pro is an A9X. So the iPad Air aint far behind. May as well go for it. But stay away from Cubasis and check out Auria Pro, which was just released. I'm waiting for a point release for some bug fixes before I buy it. Hopefully after Christmas, I'll be jumping aboard. The developer is very good listening to suggestions, and he's gonna throw in a few more features that were recommended today. He's even gonna make it an AU host soon. Steinberg are starting to remind me of Nukai. So I can't see myself using Cubasis much longer. Another good thing about Auria Pro is that you can use USB flash drives and hard drives for storage, which is good for people like me who only have a 16gb iPad Mini 2.
