No audiotracks on the mpc studio - workarounds?

Hi,

i've read about 10 different reviews on the mpc studio but i didn't find an answer to my question.
As far as i know there are currently no audio tracks on the mpc studio software.
Is there a workaround without using a daw like cubase, logic etc to record a bass oder scratches or something like that?
i know that i can sample these things and play it on the pads, but that`s no good solution in my opinion...

Is it possible to record / sample from an external source while the mpc is playing?
For example: mpc is playing a drumloop while i sample / record a bassline with my bass.

yes, you have to use the looper feature in sample record, although I think it is limited to 16 bars

I think i can live with that solution and hope that there will be audiotracks in one of the next updates...

So i just bought a used MPC Studio and hope that this baby will arrive soon
