Songmode/Convert to sequence= mute/solo tracks all scrambled

My apologies if this has been addressed before (searched already with no found solutions).

MPC Studio... In songmode, converting a song to a sequence, and every time the new converted sequence gets its track mutes/solos completely scrambled and mixed up. I've tried both "ignoring muted tracks" and "include muted tracks" with the same results. Also, after the conversion as I scroll back through previous sequences, many of their track mutes also become scrambled [when I say scrambled I mean random tracks entirely muted that weren't before]. Very buggy. Anyone else experience this issue? I'm running 1.8.2 on Windows 7. Thank you in advance for any insight...

It can be quite complicated. what iv'e started doing now is adding all tracks into one sequence.
go to song mode and convert sequence 1 several time so you have about 5 copies.
then go track mode - sequence one and mute the tracks you dont want for the intro
sequcence 2 - mute the tracks to dont want for the build up to the drop. and so on.

hope this makes sense.

Sometimes I make a real long sequence and record my mutes on the fly. That can be another option you can try.

This is what works best for me AND it's a lot of fun. Really changed my level of sequencing ability too. Used to be my least favourite part of song writing.

Same here! It has been a revolution in my way of working, beats flow more naturally and get more interesting.
