ASQ10 SYNC Problem!

Hi all, this is my first post so apologies if it's in the wrong section!

I have been a avid ASQ10 user for 20 years now and I love it!

I recently got myself a Tascam DP32 portastudio and hooked it up to the ASQ10 via 'MIDI Clock with song pointer', with the Tascam as master.

It worked fine for a week or so but then the SYNC screen on my ASQ10 started misbehaving erratically and now freezes the entire unit whenever I attempt to adjust the ' sync input settings. It justs sits on FSK24 and won't budge - all switches inactive and I have to switch the unit off and on again.

I wonder if the Tascam has sent something to the ASQ10 that it didn't like resulting in the sync input malfunctioning? The sync output works fine.

Anyone come across this before?

Sounds like the ASQ is waiting for sync from the Tascam. But why sync using FSK24? Can you not use MIDI?

I am trying to scroll through the 7 sync input options to get to MIDI CLOCK.

FSK24 is the first in the list. The page freezes and won't allow me to move past it to get to MIDI CLOCK.

Sometimes the sequencer starts playing at 300bpm and crashes!???

There seems to be a recently developed malfunction on the SYNC INPUT FIELD.
