MPC 4000 sequence loop help/info!?

Finally got mysel an MPC4k: nice.
One thing confuses me:
Say you have a 16 bar sequence & set the loop from bars 5 to 12.
Is there any way to play back bars 13 to 16 without pressing stop?
The only way to exit the loop while it's playing that I've found (in the manuals or tinternet) is 'Next Sequence' which plays to the end of the loop then skips straight to the next sequence (missing out bars 13 to 16).
It would be nice to set a predetermined number of times for the loop to loop, then play back the bit after the loop. Is that possible?
I know I could do something similar in Song Mode but I'd have to split the sequence into 2 or 3 separate sequences..
Any help would be appreciated. Soz if this has already been explained elsewhere - I couldn't find it!

Essentially, you want to play a 7 bar segment (bars 5 to 12) of a 16 bar sequence, then have the remaining bars (13 - 16) play until the end.

SOLUTION A (AUDIO SAMPLING)
You can sample the ideas from bars 5 to 12 and assign the recorded Loop to a pad; do the same for bars 13 to 16 and assign the sample to another pad, then record a sequence in real-time or via step edit.

SOLUTION B (SEQUENCE EDITING) COPY BARS
From the Main Screen - using the parent sequence #1

STEPS
1. Cursor to the BARS field/ Press window Button to access Edit Bars window
2. Edit field should read: COPY
3. From Seq field: Parent Sequence #1 underneath TO Seq field: Destination Sequence #2

4. Set First Bar: 5; Last Bar: 12; After Bar: 0; Copies: 3 (or whatever you desire)
Press F6 (DO IT)

5. Repeat Steps 1 through 3, with the following added adjustment ...

6. First Bar: 13; Last Bar: 16; After Bar:12 ; Copies: 1 (or whatever you desire)
Press F6 (DO IT)

When you press Play-Start while in the Destination Sequence #2, you should hear your ideas repeat then change as you intended.
