VP9000 (Do i really need one?)

I'm currently thinking about copping it,i heard that has this god damn timestrech feature (elastic-audio) and nice filters.Do you think that it could take a seet next to my mpc4k?

if i could afford it i would be into one. they look as if they are supa tight. get one and tell us all what its like. chur!!

co-signed... the VP has a rep of a terrible user interface, you'll need the soft.. it can do amazing things timestraetching wize.. but no filters or lfo's ect .. go softwhare Melodine is one app...

i was bout to get one then i settled on a yahama a5000. its a real nice machine and dirt cheap. the only prob is the scsi with a pc, which is not bad but a lil frustrating. also makin programs if u are importatin files can be a lil bit of a headache. but it makes up for it wiht sound quality, effects, and alot of other ill features. it has a loop remix mode, and a sampling mode where it will just record and stop and assign the sample in order. like say if u have a sample cd. it will just assign each sample when there a pause
