Issue Assigning Effects To Pads

Hey Folks,

So I've read the manual and looked online a few times and can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong when assigning effects to pads. First, I'll go to mode--->effect and then select something, say bit grunger. then I'll hit GoToMix--FXSEND. When I hit and pad and then scroll up, instead of "OF" being the default, it displays "--." When I try and scroll to the left or right with my data wheel, nothing happens. Any clue what I'm doing wrong here?

yeah the way you assign fx has changed fro akai os

You choose them from inside the program mode & then one of the F keys, can't remember which off the top of my head

In program, in "out" tab.. change output to "ST" if you want to use effects.
