I get sent a lot of demos and promos and skip through them. Yours I listened to the whole thing and really enjoyed it, those beats and bass are great. Bravo man :worthy:

Seconded. This is really sick man!

I participated in the Whosampled Samplethon a couple weeks ago. Was mad cool. I was the only head there with a 2K, or anything older than a 2500. I was also the only guy doing House there. Here's the track I made:

I cannot stop listening to this... and the other tracks by hollis parker as well

Thanks Wallace!

Yeah the mixer vibe is the one really man. Great amount of flexibility & of course the ability to use to high-quality FX, and like you said do on-the-fly arrangements. Wish I had the space for a rig like that, but for now I'll have to keep on single-tracking things.

Post up some stuff you're working on! :-D

This is the first track off the desk, 2nd take. Pretty rough and ready but that's how I like it.

Yo thanks man, really means a lot. This whole Hollis Parker thing is a real passion project of mine. Support has been great generally, but getting labels behind it has been a challenge. Guess it's not really "clubby" enough for most House labels, but it's too "Housey" for non-House labels.

It's all good tho, I'm really enjoying making the music. And I appreciate every play I get. Got a new one dropping on my Bandcamp next week, and a mixtape & an album over the next 6 months. Thanks again for listening!

Man this is great! Super raw, but that adds to the sound, doesn't take away from it. Definitely vibes here man.

So are you just running like a long sequence & doing mutes and automation on the board?

I enjoyed reading your posts and some of the music you guys make. The hollis Parker - Mall blues is great. Sounds very 90's

I mostly make Hiphop but i did a old school disco track under another alias.

Cool track, is that straight off the MP? It reminds me of something, I just can't quite put my finger on it. :-D

Thanks bud.

Yep, just an 8 bar sequence that I messed with on the mixer using the 8 outs. Very easy to do really. I will never do manual arrangements again, this is much more fluid. I still have two aux sends and stereo returns to utilize also, that will add a little more to the sound. Probably a reverb/delay unit and an analog filter or something.

Excellent man, I'm already waiting for your album :-D

Dropped a new free download on my Bandcamp today, 'NoelNineFive'. Probably my last new thing for a while as I finish up this mixtape.

Shame I couldn't embed it...

Merry Christmas MPC-heads!! :-D

Yeah, thanks!
Well, it's made on a 2K classic and tracked into cubase. All the sounds you hear are vinyl samples.
It may sound somewhat familiar because of the Notorious BIG song "Juicy".
I'm actually working on another track.......

In program. Go to param. Then hit open window (orange button) when the cursor is on envelope or filter.
