Sampling Audio from Computer (YouTube) Renaissance

My "sound card" is the Digi 003 board. Can anyone tell me how to set up everything so I can sample from the computer? I'm using the Ren. Thanks in advance!

make sure mpc software audio card is the mpc ren...

i use audacity to record from my pc. anything that produces sound i capture. also you can download songs and shit by coping the link of youtube and putting it on some sites that convert to mp3. but usually up to 5 minutes only

in sound options in control panel of windows make sure the default soundcard (where your internet and windows sounds play from) is set to digi 003

Look into programs such as Audio Hijack, Soundflower etc that let you sample computer audio.

As someone mentioned, if you are wanting to grab YouTube audio just use one of the thousands of sites offering YouTube to mp3/wav conversion, takes a few seconds to grab the audio this way.

Changed my setup this week so I'm primarily working in the box and need to work out how to do this as I'm not using my mixing desk to reroute audio back into the MPC.
Audacity will be my first port of call

I have used jdownloader. Just copy the youtube link and it grabs it and give you the choice to download the different video qualities and the audio too.
