I'm a little new @ the MPC software, so please forgive what may seem to be a newb question.

I assigned Hybrid 3 plugin to a track, laid down a 4-bar pattern, then went to a new track and assigned Hybrid to that one, also.

When I changed the parameters of the plugin on the second track, the sound on my 1st track's pattern changed.

May I assume that I can only run one instance of an instrument plugin per project? Or is there a way to create "Hybrid-2" in my programs list?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The plugin settings are held in a unique program (default is called 'Hybrid 3 001') - you just need to create a second Hybrid plugin program for that second track. In the hardware, select track 2, highlight 'Hybrid 3 001', hit WINDOW, hit NEW, Do It.

You can now assign hybrid to this new plugin program and it will be independant of the hybrid instance you have on track 1. You could also rename these programs to reflect the Hybrid patch assigned to each program.
