How do you setup MPC Touch transport to control your Daw?

How do you setup the MPC Touch transport to control your Daw (record, play, stop)? I had it working before with the Ren can't seem to figure it out with the Touch, can someone explain this?

On the Ren its in the MIDI screen, not yet implented in MPC t. On the Touch I have been using the mirror display. On Live its just the midi learn function.

A little time after I had posted the question I ended up contacting Akai via telephone, the answered pretty quickly, and Rich from tech support helped to troubleshoot the problem. After a little bit of frustration on both our parts it was determined that a midi port labeled "public" was not enabled, that was my mistake as I should've been more thorough and meticulous in my own troubleshooting before calling tech support. But anyway, kudos to Rich and Akai tech support. Thanks.
