I bought a new VST plugin (Sonik Synth 2) last night but I am having trouble accessing it in the MPC software.

I went into preferences then the plugin tab and set the folder and scanned it. Then went to track area to set plugin but the only plugins that are showing are the MPC expansions. There is no separate folder for my other VST. I cant access the plugin.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Sonik Synth is a 32 bit plug-in. In order to run it inside the MPC software you have to use the 32 bit version of MPC, since it has no bit bridge.

I have also, ill post if I get it to work. I have always had trouble with IK multimedia stuff. I just checked again Sonik Synth 2, Sample Moog and Sample Tron all fail in the plugin. The only thing that works from them is Arc.

I have been using Live to run that stuff.

Ok. I just tried to add some more VSTs and those aren't showing up either.

When I go to plugin area in the track section, there is no VST folder. The only ones I can access is the MPC expansion.

What's wrong here?

I think we need to find out how to rescan the entire vst folder first, it might pop up.

Tried it on my macbook...get load fail errors.

So, basically I've wasted money on this plugin? How do I know which plugins will work with MPC before I purchase?
