Analogue recording of 2500 with jjos xl

Just picked up a 2500 with jjos xl pre installed. Had the SE before but with standard OS and it was really straight forward. Now I've got this I've set it up with my turntable and mixer. When I'm on the record screen I can hear the signal from the turntable perfect. The issue im having is once I have recorded the sample I want and play it back it doesn't sound the same as the signal playing live in the record window. For some reason it sounds quieter. Any ideas why this is? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

What´s your master level set to? Mode + Pad 10 -> F1

Thanks forthe reply man. I checked the global settings and set the master to 0db. But it didn't fix the issue. When the recording is done and "keep or retry" dialogue box congress up I press f3 to play out back but it still sounds lower than the signal playing live

Do you have any effects on MPC on?

I just figured out what the problem was. All of my pads on the program window were set to 80 and not 100. I didn't think that would have made a difference considering I was trying to playback via the keep and retry dialogue box but now it seems to be an exact duplicate of the signal I hear in the record window. Thanks for the input.
