Can't find unlock code have had problems before

Walk us through what you did.

What unit do you have?
Did you create an account on akai pro?
Did you install from the DVD-rom or download for the akai site?
What do you have Win/Mac, what OS?

Someone on here may be able to walk you through it.

My lappy just crashed deleted all my music and everything on the Mpc program I uploaded all the discs fine but when I open it it's saying the hardware isn't on. I've tried again a more than a few times and it still won't give me the unlock code do I need the Internet to upload them? Or do I have to download the updates again? I'm rebooting the lappy now and gonna try again

yeah if you reninstalled from the disc, you have to be online for the initial activation. You have to do the firmware upgrade install also.
