Why only 32 parts available??

long time user of the 4000 but first time posting here. I am currently putting a live set together but i seem to be limited to 32 parts only?? never noticed when making tracks as i never use over 32 parts.

on the mixer page there are only 32 parts to select, where are the other parts??
.and on the main page, track section, when assigning a part to a track I am able to select part 1-128 but no programme select window opens up on anything over 32 parts??

how come I cant assign programs to any part number above 32?

I wish I had the mpc in front me, bad memory but ill try. I think you can either push window and make more or go into 44.1 mode.

you're probably right, I will try it in 44.1after saving my folders to an external hd, reminds of a similar problem when I could only use two effects!

I had tried the window option btw

changing to 44.1 didn't work either..so at the moment I seem to be limited to 32 parts!

Okay cracked it, here's how to do it.

hit....
1:MULTI,
2: F2(MIX),
3: GO TO A PART NUMBER, PRESS WINDOW
4: SELECT NUMBER OF NEW PARTS TO BE CREATED.

The new parts are now available for editing in the mixer section and programs can now be assigned to all parts, 1-128.
