Samples always pan to the left...?

What's up guys, new to the boards here. I'm having an issue with my 2500. Here goes.....

So, I'm making a beat or whatever, chopping drums, samples, anything..... I get all my samples set on pads, but now when I start hitting the pads, my volume goes just about all the way down, and they always pan to the left? Is this something anyone has heard of or experienced? I have no idea what's going on.... Bad pads maybe? Haven't replaced them in a few years now...... Thanks in advance for any help. What happens when you switch the cables in your stereo out? Right > left, left > right?

If the problem remains on the same side, it may be a bad output.

Still pans to the left and volume goes down. I don't get it....

It only happens when pushing the pads. I was just messing with it again, & it only seems to be the pads that I use the most (top row is always my drums, bottom left is usually my main sample) - so I have no idea. The only thing I can think of is bad pads at this point possibly? I don't have it hooked up to anything, I do have a synth running through it, but I unplugged all that and tried it... Same shit! This is killing me. Lamp, is there a way to find previous pad settings? What should mine be set on? I'm so bad with all this technical stuff.

Yeah I've been reading the manual all day. Found nothing. I guess it's more of a volume thing.... Everytime I have the mixer of the MPC on the screen, the volume goes super low, sometimes all the way down, and always pans left.... Kinda weird, & a little hard to explain I guess. I'm gonna take it apart tonight and clean it out. Hoping that's all I have to do.

And also like I said before its only on I'd say like 5 pads (the ones I use the most) - I tried different banks, and it does the same thing... Tried pads I don't normally use, and it works fine. Really strange.

It's your q-links/faders are loose, dirty or broken, sending positions as you hit the pads, in mixer page one of top q-links is for pan, and one of bottom for volume. Use some lube/ contact cleaner or if this ain't help exchange q-link boards by technican.

That sounds about right. So I guess Take it apart, clean it out, and see what happens...?

Yeah that's piece of cake. You can use spray from outside, but you can also take a closer look.

Don´t use an ordinary contact cleaner. DeoxIT D5 and FaderLube are what you should use!

i have that issue to. my qlink slider board has to be replaced. (dont know if thats the fix or not) but in the meantime i try to center it manually in mode>effects>go2fx. it works with some samples. are ALL of your samples panning to the left? or just some?
