How does the MIDI control of filters work in OS2Xl./OS128Sp?

Hi All,

Trying to work out if I should change to OS128SP.

Just wondering how this works...
MIDI IN (MIDI CC #02 or 74 => Filter Cutoff)

Is that for the current track?
or split track per MIDI channel? (eg track 1 = channel 1)
Or split pad per MIDI channel? (eg pad 1 = channel 1)

With filter there are two ways, both affecting whole program/track:

1.multitimbre off - it records on active track, no matter on which channel message have been sent

2.multitimbre on - messages from channels 1-16 are relocated to corresponding tracks 1-16, no matter on which track you are.
