No Sound on MPC Ren

Hey guys.

Just got the MPC Ren today and I've already loaded all of the discs and everything seemed fine. My problem is I cant hear any sound whenever I hit play. I also cant hear sound whenever I try to preview them.

I have a Macbook Pro with no monitors yet as I am waiting on them to be shipped. All I have is my headphones.

The Main Volume is all the way up. The Direct MON is in the center but Ive also tried it all the way to the right as well as to the left. The headphone volume knob is all the way up as well as the MIX/ASSIGN knob. I've tested my sound preferences and the test works... Still no sound though.

Any Idea what Im doing wrong? Are monitors required to use this thing?

Go to mpc > preferences > audio and make sure the mpc ren is set for outgoing audio. You should now hear audio from the rens headphone socket.

Yep, I've done that and still no sound.

I've tried both Bit accurate and Core audio settings.

Nevermind... Figured it out. Thanks a lot for replying.


It was the MAIN/ASSIGN knob. Had it the wrong way.
