Strange sync issue when slaved to mtc

Hi there - I've run into a weird issue when my mpc is slaved to a daw. If I'm in song mode, everything works fine with no real issues... If I'm in normal mode with a single sequence looping, again everything is fine but as soon as I change the sequence via jog wheel or next sequence screen the tempo inexplicably doubles... (Not on the screen, the clock speed itself doubles while the master clock on the daw stays the same) - sometimes if I change sequence again it fixes itself but this seems pretty random as to when this happens...

Any ideas? It's killing me

in the main window, sequence block :
-best select master as tempo source-

C Init field
Displays the base tempo that will be used when using the Tempo Change function. This
field will be displayed only if the Tempo Change field is turned on in the Tempo Change
popup window.
D SEQ/MASTER field
Selects the tempo source for the sequence.
If you select SEQ, the tempo specific to that sequence will be used.
If you select MASTER, the tempo currently displayed in the Tempo field will apply to all
sequences.
If you move the cursor to this field and press the [WINDOW] key, the Tempo Change
popup window will appear.

Yeah that was one of my first thoughts too - but still has same effect regardless of whether tempo is master or not

i guess it is not the other way 'round ? (when your MTC is master)
please monitor MIDI time code on your computer (MIDI-OX) to see this is stable and continuous
