I only have a d.j mixer, turntables. My first MPC 2000xl

I feel like such an idiot posting this but judging from some previous reads someone might be able to help. I am buying my first ever Mpc 2000xl but feel nervous because I am not sure what the heck to do once I get it. I currently own a dj mixer, two turntables and thousands of records. I also hvave my daughters laptop and want to connect that to my mpc. Will I be able to connect my turntable to my mixer and connect the Mpc to the mixer. How do I connect the laptop? I've tried YouTube and Google search about my initial set up and have found nothing. Please help me out.

You'll need an audio interface of some sort to connect your MPC to your laptop. What are you trying to do with the laptop?

I have some drum patterns and piano loops on my daughters laptop and after creating a drum sequence on the mpc I want to save my work on her laptop

Yup you'll need an audio interface. It'll connect through the USB drive and let your computer input/output sounds with the MPC
