I'm starting to lose it with Akai software now. I seem to be spending more time trying to work out why things aren't working, rather than making music.

Finally got round to updating the software today to 1.9.1

All my plugin's worked fine under the previous version. Wasn't running in any crazy mode or anything like that.

In the new version, if I select plugins/VST I have several there - including Kontakt and a few others BUT....

Two critical ones to me are missing - these are the Effetrix plugin, and the Ozone 6 plugin

I go into preferences and re-scan them all, and they ALL scan fine. But still don't show.

If I click on the settings-wheel on the plug-in selector, I can see ALL of them there, and the two missing ones have a status of 'OK" next to them. If I click to re-scan them, they re-scan OK too.

But they still don't show in the plugin selector :( :( :(

Please tell me there is a simple, rational explanation and not that I have to 're-install the software and all the plugins' again....

I may just be in a bad mood, but I'm really getting close to throwing in this entire platform at this rate.

It might be that the plug ins are 32 bit and you are running MPC Software in 64 bit. 1.9.1 also doesn't support RTAS plug ins.

MPC Software 32 bit mode:

If you right click the MPC Software Icon and select get info I believe you should be able to select 32 bit mode.

Well I will try that, but they worked in the very latest prior version so I am not sure about that 32/64 bit thing.

As for the format, these are fairly mainstream VSTs - especially iZotope Ozone 6, which I would have thought is pretty standard.

Plus the MPC software is listing these plugins in the plugins list (on the settings screen) and the software scans them okay. It's just if you try and create a program/sequence using a plugin on the main work screen, they don't show up.

Will try running in a different mode tomorrow though and see if that helps

Thanks
