Just a quick update to the review, I turned on my MPC Touch this morning ready to work on some keygroup programs, only to find that 'Keygroup Program Edit' is yet another 'Coming Soon' page. DRUM and MIDI program edit is all there, but keygroup is missing.

That's perhaps one 'coming soon' page too many for my liking and TBH that's a bit old school Akai/Numark. Should have been sorted before release IMO. So basically ATM you can only edit keygroups in the computer GUI, so this is actually a step backwards compared to the Ren/Studio.

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet? Wondering if any of you are currently using the keygroup features of the MPC on a regular basis, or is it just mostly DRUM And plugin programs?

No, there's just no Program Edit available for keygroup programs. So you can only load existing keygroup programs from the MPC Touch - you cannot edit them and while you can create a new keygroup program from MAIN, you can't actually assign any samples or keygroups to it (only via the computer).

And some stuff is a pain to control in the GUI - for example velocity switching zones, it's impossible to set certain numbers using the mouse and there's no option to enter numerically. I'm currently trying to set a switch zone that runs from 31 to 65, but the computer GUI only lets me 'drag' the upper value to 64 or 66. Infuriating, so out comes the MPC Studio to the rescue.
