That sampling lazy chop shit is dope. But can you do that on the REN?

It looks like it, he says for all mpc users. It looks like they fixed the stuck screen saver thing on the Touch. Well see...

Check the Touch that's used in the background. Clearly says "MPC Studio 7" on the bottom side.

Well, the looper option pretty effectively emulates audio tracks. Set it for however long you want, and sync-start w/ selected sequence. Even has overdub.

Icepulse using the looper isn't the same as audio tracks.

I said it's similar. I can set the looper to 32 bars, play back a 4 bar sequence, and lay down a long track. Then, just assign it to a pad, and drop it into a track.

There are obviously limitations there.

10 points for that Lazy Chop method!!! I have been literally dreaming of a way to have that type of chop. And dammit, they delivered.

Icepulse If you stop in the middle of a sequence or song then start from that point the loop won't play.

True... Unless you chop it up and spread it across the track.

Not exactly the easiest solution. I don't think you can do that w/ Maschine, either. I suppose that's what exporting to your DAW is for.

It's a nice dream, tho. It would certainly give Live! a run for its money!!

It's not a dream... There's no good reason why the MPC software doesn't have audio tracks considering the power of todays computers. The MPC 5000 has audio tracks with limited resources smh.
