Not only does 1.9.2 allow you to chop with pads live as you sample but Akai has also included a new chop by pads function in sample edit for you pre existing samplesYou no longer have to use the F key to insert slices...ENJOY !!!

The workflow with the Touch and Ren is now on another level, can't believe how much Akai has improved the software since earlier version releases, did they put the project in the hands of a new manager? Now Pete and this other guy are on the videos, no Dan, and I'm seeing all the features I was asking for. More mpc features, more sampling features, more sequencing features, more midi features, software stability, hardware control and workflow improvements, soon all they need to do is maybe update the colors of the GUI of the software so it matches the Touch, and doesn't look so much like the Ren. Have a GUI like now that matches the Ren's look for people who use the Ren, and make an updated dark GUI for the software with colors and such for people with the Touch, lets have a touch template and a Ren template for the software. When I'm using the touch, every time I look at the software it reminds me and looks like the Ren and I'm not using the Ren, kind of annoying.

Man, this is so dope. Just tried it. Improves workflow a lot.

And with audio tracks being announced for 2.o, I'm pretty much set when that drops.

:-D
