What's the lightest portable turntable?

Hey Everyone

I am also thinking to buy a crosley turntable and I have been looking for different crosley turntables for a long time now.Crosley cruiser is which I liked the most after I read positive reviews about it on http://www.telegraph.co.uk/ and http://www.crosleyturntablereviews.com/.So if anybody has recently purchased a turntable ,please guide me to make the right choice.

Sarah, if you really value your records, you should avoid buying a Crosley turntable. You're much better off with an old Technics in good condition.

I strongly agree with what distortedtekno said, those Crosley turntables won’t sound good, very fragile, and I don’t think any one who has right mind would give positive review. I believe that the reviewers are paid.

Also, I am appalled that Barns & Noble would carry those crappy turntables. It is really pointless to play 180gram limited edition vinyl LP on one of those cheap record players.

One of turntables I own is, I found it (and saved it) on the street, on trash pile long . It is Technics turntable (SL-D1) and still works great, and sounds great.
