The shiny new toys are rolling out. what's caught your eye so far?
(didn't see a thread like this yet)

I've already ordered a TE PO-20, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5PvXQq3DVQ .

Unless there's some huge fatal flaw, I will eventually be getting a Korg Minilogue sometime. 4-polyphonic analog for $500? hell yeah. http://www.korg.com/us/products/synthesizers/minilogue/

And HOLY SHIT ARTURIA. THE **** MATRIXBRUTE. A BEAST. Can't say I'm likely to get one, I imagine they're up there on price point, but I seriously dig my Mini and Microbrute, and I can see the Matrix being another hit. https://www.arturia.com/matrixbrute/overview

also Akai, derping it up with some turntables and the MPC touch I guess... whatever, haven't cared about what they're doing for years.

I am definitely selling my Korg Radias and an old roland synth and getting the new korg analog.
All I need is the four voices really. I am sure they will come out with an 8 voice version. However that analog synth is saving people from getting an old mono/poly.
Cheers,
Ian

the minilogue would fill a big hole in my setup at the moment—I've got some analog monosynths, the wonderfully digital OP-1, an old Yamaha FM synth, my MPC, other stuff, but there's a niche that only an analog poly can really fill...

Ther eis a lot of cool stuff out now. I too like the Motif with the bad ass knob for controlling multiple parameters. It is such a useful performance concept. MY fantom S88 gets used all the time and I have never thought to replace it until now. However that is a dream because I am not spending the big dollars on gear anymore.
So the FM korg volca and the korg poly are my targets.
That beast made by arturia is just way too big. I can see that being someones first piece in an attempt to get an all in one but they have got to be crazy. It is needs to be that big it should be a workstation also.
The Dave Smith stuff is always a dream. I simply can't afford it. I wouldn't mind a prophet 12 or 6 of course.
Not so interested in the OB. though I am sure it is cool.

I'm more interested to see how prices drop for old gear on the used market myself :smoker:
