well they made the 1 octave keyboard with 8 bit synth and CV outputs..;.. hahahahahaha oh well. As an MV owner who **** cares if they make another one, roland has a job to do (making organs and shit)

I was more interested in the MPC60, SP1200,ASR modeling rather than if it would've been an MV or an SP.

Yep, a bit of a disappointment, but a rumor. No more no less. However, the MPC 2.x software looks promising.

I'm right as Roland is developing such a product, we'll just have to wait for whenever they're ready to officially announce it, but I was dead wrong to speak on the video I saw.

I don't think he was working for Roland, he was working for some well known NYC producer. During the course of his duties there he was given access to some up and coming products, e.g. MPC Touch and it would seem he got to watch a video about a new ROland product.

Basically his employer would have signed an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) with Akai and Roland. In that contract the employer agrees to ensure his staff keep their gobs shut as well. So 'tha knoq' not only embarassed his employer, he might have got his employer sued for breach of contract. At the very least I would imagine his employer is no longer being given access to pre-release products anymore.

So a bit of internet attention seeking gets 'tha knoq' the sack and probably costs his employer some potentially lucrative sponsorship deals with Akai & Roland.

Bad move for this guy. So maybe the rumor is true and Roland are waiting for Musikmesse to announce it? Either way, I guess we were better off being surprised, had we not known anything.

I'm a Maschine user. I reluctantly converted from the MV-8800. I loved that machine & couldn't really fathom going itb. But once I tried Maschine, there was no going back.

I can't imagine how good an MV-9000 would have to be to move away from my laptop.

Roland is a bit on the slow side. Maybe too big for there own good?

I wouldnt be surprised if it comes within a year or two. Look at the time from all the complaints to when they created Roland Boutique.

I dont see the logic in being loyal to any of these companies. Feck them, get what you need and tell em to kiss your ass.

Yup, spiderman and tha knoq were wrong. Roland are Japan based and they don't take leaks lightly unless authorized.

The Knoq should've waited a month before NAMM before singing like a bird. His thread at gearslutz was all over the internet and numerous blogs since he leaked it in November. It was just a matter of time until Roland **** him up.
