I updated to windows 10 from windows 7, I installed 1.9.2 but the display isn't working, what am I doing wrong? I've installed all the drivers.

In the 1.9.2 install be sure and run the screen calibration part. Perhaps re-run it if you have already.

I my now rather length experience with the touch, the screen/computer relationship is the only "dicey" thing. On my Win 10 box it works fine (as it does on my Macbook Pro) but every once in a while it reboots itself..... anyway.

I would make 100% sure about the drivers, and calibrate. also, please don't take this wrong - I am not trying to insult your intelligence..... but be sure the touch is plugged in and receiving power. It works on USB alone, but the screen will not function. I only bring it up because it's the kind of thing I would do......

Thank you for your response, it is appreciated.
I have tried the screen calibration but my screen won't come on when I try it, I've reinstalled the drivers and that didn't work, I've download another copy of the 1.9.2 update (just incase I had a bad copy) and that didn't help either. I've plugged the usb cord into different ports with no success.
The screen comes on when I turn the Touch on and displays MPC but then goes black, when I try the screen calibration the screen flickers on (like it wants to come on) but then goes black. On my Mac computer it works fine, I'm at a lost as to what I should try next. Btw, in the screen calibration text it states that I may need to turn screen mirroring off but I do not know where that option is, I've tried to search on the internet but had no luck and I tried to do a search in windows 10 but also had no luck. This has been very frustrating.

I'm not sure I fully understand you, if you're asking if when the computer reboots does the computer and monitor reboots then yes they both reboot. "Do you lose unsaved work?", I haven't been able to get to the point where I'm even using the MPC 1.9.2 software.

Hopefully this will work. Make sure you uninstall the display drivers also.

Thanks, I will give that a try.

I just tried uninstalling everything, running ccleaner, and then reinstalling everything (restarting my computer after every step) but it still doesn't work. I did get a strange message stating "need more juice.." which I don't understand that because the power cord that's plugged into the power outlet is what gives the screen its power. Regardless I unplugged it from the outlet and plugged it into another outlet and the message went away but still no screen. Here's a screenshot of the message.https://www.dropbox.com/s/b5i92dsptnfss ... +juice.PNG

The reboot is just my screen, so no loss of work..

Your problem sounds like the mirroring, I think it's on by default in 10..... give me a sec and I will tell you how to turn it off....

From what I can tell you have to have a second display actually plugged in before you get the option to mirror or not.....

When you calibrate, be sure to choose to use the screen for the MPC only, not for use by both PC and MPC.... that can be an issue as well......

I never get to that point in the configuration.

I can try that but I imagine it is sending the correct power because it was working perfectly fine in v1.9.1

For the heck of it have you tried just telling the config that the screen works and see what it does? I know on my Win 10 box the screen is basically blank and I just say it's all good and move on. All that is really on my screen is the bar at the bottom of the windows screen and with that set to auto hide sometimes thats not even there..... hey, worth a try if you haven't tried it already.

Hope you get it working, I've been there and know how frustrating computer issues can be....

Yeah I've tried that and it still didn't work. I will call Akai tech support tomorrow and hopefully they can give me a solution, but thanks anyway.
