enjoy! They can take all the time they need to get it right. I'm just glad to know audio tracks is coming! A few people underestimated Akai's developers lol. BOOM! LOL.

It's funny reading this thread for the first time, after the Namm announcement. Anyway, I wholeheartedly agree with the above. And yes, you can use the looper function, or resample and chop what you play, etc. But neither of those is as efficient as simply being able to record audio as an audio track and being able to manipulate it that way. I do the same for a lot of hand percussion, vocal percussion, any idea I want to execute on the fly while remaining in the MPC environment.
And they added being able to arm recording to multiple tracks? Definitely wasn't expecting that, but I def look forward to taking advantage of it. I wasn't expecting 128 tracks either. :worthy:
