TRACK shortcut

Hi All!

I'm wondering if it is possible to change TRACK number from hardware (apart from Track+/- on MAIN)? I'm on REN 1.9.2.

It will be nice to hold a button and press PAD number to switch between TRACKS.

Something like this existed in my MPC5000.

On the MPC Touch theres a sequence select mode with the pads. You might be able to access it with the MPC software. I believe its what your asking for.

Good call, thanks dustymaestro. With what you suggested I believe I can only SEQ TRACKs in order in which they will play. However, I want to EDIT TRACK/PROGRAM assigned to the TRACK.

Let's imagine this; I'm working on a SEQ with 16 TRACKS, I know I want to quickly jump from TRACK 1 to TRACK 8. I could use the Track +/- from MAIN (fine) but would have to press this few times and this isn't as quick. It will be better/faster to hold a button and press PAD 8 to go 'inside' TRACK 8 (to access its PROGRAM).

Hope this makes sense?

Ahh ok, I thought you were sequencing a song mode type thing.

I do it your way and just mash buttons.

Somebody else might have a better way...
