So I just got a great price on a fully loaded MPC 4000 that ended up in a pawn shop after probably being mistreated in a crack house (judging by it's condition and the names of the few sequences the original owner left in the memory.)
I'm checking everything out, I'll need to firm up some of the buttons, get new pad sensors and eventually so dome maintenance. Behind the fan looks scary..
I noticed that the right q-link slider is not as firm as the one on the left, and it's values don't smoothly follow it's action. When going down, sometimes the values seesaw up and down for a bit before decreasing, and when the slider gets all the way down, and I keep downward pressure the values start going up. Anyone experience this? I guess I need to buy a new slider assembly or is there an easier fix?
