if you have a sample loinger then 10 seconds it won't fit on a floppy. chop the unneeded portion of your samples off...in trim screen press the edit softkey and then press do it.

Yes, trim off any unused sections of samples & make sure only sounds that really have some stereo effect on them are in stereo. Don't waste space with individual drum sounds being stereo. Convert them to mono.
Also you can save all the samples in this beat individually on different floppies. You will have to re-assign them to the pads of the program when you reload everything but your tunings for each pad will have been saved as long as you saved the program.
Sounds like you need a zip drive.

forget floppy. get you a zip drive. saving/loading floppy will limit you big time!

Or get an External Harddrive like me
- Convert to Mono is usefull if you want your sample dead center.

Computer stores, office supply stores. The type of place you would buy floppies or blank CDRs. They should be easy to get hold of.

2 Zip Drives 1 for MPC and 1 For The PC just Be Careful with
the Actual disks and always Backup your files if
You Use A PC This Is Your Benefit (Software Editors are now available and you can cheaply n easily backup storage copies of files on to CD-R)
