Bug reports & end-user support for Akai's MPC Software 'controllers' including the new MPC Studio 2, the MPC Touch, MPC Renaissance & original MPC Studio and MPC StudioB lack.

Did all the installs, drivers, whatnot. Registered Touch with Akai. Touch "works" as far as a controller goes, but in Prefs it still thinks it's my old Studio. Touch screen just mirrors... Anybody wanna help an old man?

The mpc.settings file on your computer contains your initial registration details, as your mpc software installation is already activated via the studio, that is what's showing in preferences. Same on my system. Doesn't affect touch functions though.

If you delete or rename that file, the next time the mpc app launches it will ask you to activate and register the touch.
On a Mac the file is in user/your name/library/application support/mpc
