my mpc 2000 be freezing up once in a while. what should i do

Check the memory. If you remove the memory expansion(s), does it still freeze up?

i dont hav da memory expansion. its just da regular mpc 2000 by itself

Hmm. Weird. I never had problems like that when I had my 2k. Someone in the mpc2000 forum might have a better clue though.
