Add also allow us to add effects on any given highlighted region without affecting the whole track like in pro tools that would be dope.

Worth reminding the whingers that the AIR instruments & effects that are to be in 2.0 currently retail for over $400 alone.

Just a heads up on this. Simon Bangs from Akai has been posting this on Facebook:

Simon Bangs, Akai wrote:Hi All, the inclusion of AIR FX and the exact AIR FX version is not yet confirmed, therefore we are happy to offer MPC Owners a special $49.99 price should it turn out that AIR FX Plus are included within the MPC 2.0 software we will refund AIR FX purchase on providing a MPC upgrade receipt. This is a feature I would also greatly appreciate.

The main thing I'm awaiting is audio tracks though. It will make my workflow so much easier for dealing with external synths or guitar.

Am I the only one wondering how he did the pad copy so dam fast? I've never seen it done that way by holding the copy button down. Is that only a feature on the Touch because I tried on the Studio and that doesn't work. They need to add this feature on the studio. It would make everything one step faster.

I'm already tired of looking at the 2.0 update pics, I feel it already needs another update, it looks alot the same layout. For a 2.0 I would hope the GUI would allow for faster drag n drop of efx via the browser etc.. Already sick of it,and it's not even been released.

And where's the deeper external midi control for controlling other software, Maschine offers this with their controller editor, Akai needs to at least do this as well.

I hope they add some features from the MPC 4000 and put it into the new MPC update.
