MPC Studio Master with Ableton as Slave ???

Hi,

I have my MPC Studio linked to my mac with usb, loaded up MPC software, loaded up Ableton 9.

On MPC I selected Sync Tab in Preferences, and set 'send' to MTC.
I then set in the 'To' drop down MPC Studio, MPC Public option as the " AkaiPro Internal MIDI." doesnt show

Question is that correct? As in the below instructions it doesnt give the 'To' option I have...

In Ableton I followed those instructions but again it doesnt give the " AkaiPro Internal MIDI." option..

Nope, that's wrong.

First, set up you IAC. Go to Audio MIDI Setup (in Finder, press CMD+Shift+U for utilities, you'll find it there). Show the MIDI window, double click IAC, activate it and add ports if needed.

Then, select the appropriate IAC port OUT in Ableton and in MPC Software choose the corresponding IAC port IN respectively (if you use Ableton Live as master) and continue syncing as usual.
