Automatic program creation during sample loading

I may have broached on the subject in an earlier post. But last night it was really annoying.

So I got this project with about half a dozen samples assigned to a single program.
Then, I go to "load" page and load some more samples, but to find them assigned to brand new program(s) uncalled for .. .
If I repeat the loading of samples I may end up with 2 or 3 more "new" programs with my samples distributed among them, as I said thing that I never wanted to start with... I only wanted to load/add more samples to the same initial program. Then I end up with samples all over the place, tracks with programs n, or n+1, or n+2, etc. and it's a mess to clean this up and re-assign the samples to the one initial program.

How can I prevent JJOS from "automatically" creating new programs and putting samples in it ??

Say this is an empty project, I am on track 1: just after loading a sample and using sample "assign to pad" window after the load page it "puts" the sample in the pad and creates a program 8 for example. Then I do my drum track.
Then for example I do a track 2 "midi" for example, and sequence it.
Then I go to track 3 drum again, repeat loading another sample and using sample "assign to pad" window after the load page. the sample gets assigned to the good pad but in a new program # 9 instead of putting it in the existing program # 8.

It looks like if I change the track type say from drum to midi and returns to drum from midi, JJOS considers that the ongoing program is a new one (n+1). I guess going to a new track I must specify on main screen the prog it is using.

track 1 drum, prog 3
track 2 drum, prog 3
track 3 midi
track 4 drum, then the "default" prog automatically becomes "4" and that's where loading a sample for track 4 will go, instead of going to prog 3

Rarely using it, but sometimes I did enter there witout choosing program on track, and while assigning it does not show program name I want to use... so I exit, set up program to track and then go with it. How it supposed to know which program YOU THINK it should go??? hmm last one used? riiight.. tell it to machine
