Hello, can anyone recommend a good FX unit that will add to the FX built in to the MPC 5000 please?
I'm already looking for an stereo analogue filter to add, something like a Sherman Restyler, but what about all the other FX.
The 5000's FX aren't the best in the world, but perhaps with the exception of the reverb, they're not terrible.
Is it worth adding anything else, like an Eventide H9 Max, or a couple of Strymon pedals? I'm sure they sound better listened to by themselves, but are the noticeably better in the mix?
Anyone have any experience with this?
