Drag and drop demo video

FYI if you hit the D&D audio icon a second time it will import the audio into the Samples list.

No need to drag from the icon to the samples list. Super fast & easy.

Initially, I didn't understand the benefits of this feature.

Thanks for the posting the vid, this is definitely an addition that will enhance my workflow.

Does Drag n Drop work in reverse? Like dragging MIDI INTO the MPC software?

Yes, i just tried it using the midi file from EZdrummer and it works. Funny i open EZdrummer as plugin in MPC it doesn't work, as no note appeared even i can drag the midi file in.

this would be a very nice feature had they not, thought to give another way to do music outside the mpc.......

yes boogie the common sense thing would be "drag a midi program into the track instead of still trying to create a whole nother seq." but for some god awful reason the common sense was not there.

importing a midi by drag and drop is for sure what i thought this focus was, instead they gave you another export option. that is already there.........

so guys.. next time lets try to do it right... for those of us who like to work completely in the box, until a master or stronger mix. (although you can do a mix completely in box routing and multi plug ins still become an issue).
We would like to drag a midi file into the track and keep the same bpm as project.

if this would have worked both ways then we would have a another winner. for now its an option that already exist.

I feel the same way. This is another example of a feature that I can't understand the hoopla about. It's way different than what I expect to see when I hear "drag and drop". It makes me wonder if they really, really got the proper explanation of this feature request. Or they did, But didn't really understand it.
