Looks good. I'm glad that someone else went ahead with this project since I decided not to, due to the SCSI2SD not being compatible with the MPC2000.

@distortedteckno
you try with a 2k or someone else as im pretty sure it will work as the 2k's scsi is newer then the 3k.
i know that there was a broken firmware that shipped with and prehaps is still shipping with certain scsi2sd's depending on where you actually buying from.
1st step is to update the scsi2sd with latest firmware, and perhaps i can guide you from there.
anyway i will update this thread once i get it installed in my 3k internally.
also got a artmix internal 3k fitting kit.

Someone else in the 2000 forum tried and had no luck. I don't remember if he had the new firmware or not. But I'm gonna re-read those posts now.

@distorted to be honest, that guy in the other thread doesn't sound like he knows what he's doing. Either that or he got a f*cked up unit.
It just makes no sense that it would not work on an MPC 2000 but works on a grip of other scsi devices.
If you want to send me the paper, I'll buy a SCSI2SD and "tell you if it works"

You're probably right. But I'll wait it out. I'm not in a hurry to ditch my MO drives.

Apologies, I actually had a 2K & a SCSI2SD but I didn't test them together. I let my homie hold the 2K. But again I don't see why they wouldn't work, since it seems to work with the S3KXL etc. Just gotta use it externally.

The SCSI2SD does work in the 2000XL. I'm using OS1.14c and partitioned an 8GB SD card into 8 partitions of 989MB.

up close, it sits nice but there is a slight 1mm gap

finally here she is

ok quick heads up,
my usb connectors to connect to the scsi2sd with the bezel seem a little fat but i did manage to programme my scsi2sd but i had to jamm it in and hold it ....

@JUKE: Cool stuff. Was more concerned about using it on a classic, since that's the harder one to find modern storage for. Moot point for me personally since I got a 3K now anyway, guess it was more proof of concept or whatever.
@Horse: looks great man, congrats!! Were you able to use all 4 SCSI IDs?
