What gives? I tried loading the plugins in 64 bit and 32 bit versions of MPC. It's always telling me a waves .dll is missing when its not. Every plugin gets a failed to load. Tried opening MPC in admin mode, still no luck.

Did a search on the forums and saw that this kind of thing has been happening since 1.7.. I guess the problem still hasn't been fixed?

This downgrading to 1.6. Is this the only way to get them to work? I'm trying to configure how I want to use the MPC software, and Waves plugins are part of the equation (not absolutely necessary - but a really nice to have). I'm on 1.9.3 and no matter what, the MPC software doesn't recognize my waves plugins. Is there any other fix for this other than downgrading to 1.6 then upgrading to 1.9.3 again?

And either way, I'd like to do this downgrading thing today. But where to find 1.6? I've looked on the Akai site. Only links to 1.9.2.

you should try to rerun your "waves au Reg Utility" then rescan. waves been workin for me on all updates. i have not had to run it since they disappeared in 1.6 (ithink it was 1.6)
only ones not working are my "Soundtoys" they may be a 32bit version.

I tried. Not working for me. On OS X. No time to sort this now. PITA that it doesn't just work. Got a deadline to hit, so figure this out some other time. Not critical as I don't mix in the MPC software anyway. Just a nice to have.
