If I'm understanding you correctly, you need to create an account at

https://www.akaipro.com/my-account/create-account

You then need to register your MPC hardware in your account. At this point your expansion plugins will be available for download.

If Akai don't let you register your Renaissance (because it's registered to someone else), you must contact Akai to have them transfer the registration to you, or get the previous owner to do this for you. Phone them if you can, as apparently they take a very long time to respond to email.
