Akai MPC Studio Black $459 ?

I've seen it available for pre-order in Germany for 400 EUR which is approx £300 - same price as the silver model is in the UK. I assumed it would be a bit more expensive than the silver one, but there you go.

really Akai needs to release technical information what is different besides appearance.
I have the silver Studio, and I think it is an absolute gem of design

Am I the only one who thinks the black Studio looks awkward as hell? Bulky knobs on a really slim casing...meh. But I guess the feel is better than on the silver one. In regards to portability the silver one kills it IMHO...

I wish they would have changed the Q link bank selection knob to a button like on the Touch. Black looks pretty slick tho.

At NAMM the akai rep told me its the exact same thing just a different color and changed knobs.
