Anyone know how to pull up the type of chord assignment used on a song when everything has been recorded, saved and then reloaded. Somehow the played chords are playing back out of tune and I need to replay and record them over but I can't figure out which Notes, Scale, etc that I used..... Anyone know how to pull up the chord specs?

look at the midi notes..... what ever notes they are on will represent the chord. then flip threw the settings pushing some pads while in chord mode.

edit* drag and drop your midi and post we can figure it out

Ok, so I sent a Tweet to Akai Pete concerning my problem with Chord specs on the software and this is the just of our exchange.....

Me: no one can answer Anyway in software to see the exact TYPE, SCALE, CHORD, BANK, OCTAVE of a saved track in Pad Perform Mode? :hmmm:

Pete: You select that in pad perform mode itself, not in a particular track.

Me: so if I load a saved seq w/chord pattern from 4 months ago it will already be in the same TYPE, SCALE, CHORD, BANK & OCTAVE? :hmmm:

Pete: You recorded the “performed” notes into the grid. They’ll still all be there.

Me: ok but if I need to make changes to the chord pattern, when I load the seq how do I know the chord type, scale, chord & bank when pad perform mode doesn't reset, it pulls up the last specs it was left on which might have peen from a totally diff song :hmmm:

Pete: Yes, correct, that’s how it works at this point in time. :? :WTF:

Me: ok so I wanna put a request in for  chord pad performance settings to be loaded based on the specs they had when saved. Thanx

I don't know about anyone else but I need this to be implemented into the software ASAP........Yes I can do it but it would be a pain in the ass to screen shot every time I use chord progressions in a track, especially if I have multiple tracks with different chords on each of them.....in multiple songs

not sure why this is so hard for you....
takes me like 2 minutes. if that..
i can go to any track i have done in past. simply look at the notes and know its one of them. (the chord setting is deff one of the notes you have represented by the midi tick)
your not getting the answers you want cause this is really actually a simple problem. i do agree with you. the setting should load with track....but
like i said. with 1.9.3 just drag and drop your midi post here and ill tell you what it is
