Can you greatly benefit from dual 2kxl MPC's?

I was just wondering why some people use 2 mpc's in the studio. Can it extremely helpful?

Some cats may have 1 MPC with every bank fully loaded with sounds and they had enough cash to have copped another MPC which also has every bank fully loaded with sounds, so that way they dont have to keep reloading the same MPC with different sounds....I know this aint the master answer, but its a possibility

Also more midi channels.

I dont know where i heard/read this but I think Dre uses 4......... but then again he's Dr Dre and i'd be willing to bet that he has a lot of money ... (just a guess though)
