Hi,

while installing my TOUCH, software, drivers etc,. i´ve choosed the option to NOT mirror my laptops screen.
But now it does just excatly this, all the time !
I just run now my MPC software but am still in mirroring mode,.......and seems i can´t do anything with my toucscreen.

where can i set that option again: to mirror, or to not mirror the laptops screen ?
how to get out temporarily for now ?

main part: ( end first )
could it be that my broke accu from my macbook is the reason to fail on overtaking the "sharing spaces" setting instead of "mirroring screens" ?
( the new accu is here, i have no tri wing screw driver to install it so far )

story:
ok, i found out that when i run the MPC installer again, i get directly to the screen setup page.
Helps nothing, have donne this setting now many times again.

in the MPC software is a setting too. this was donne allready correctly. resetting it helps nothing.

resetting my settings in my macbook ( OSX11.2-ELCAP ) helps nothing,
But i got at one start up of the MPC software a error message that the "share spaces" has to be enabled in the screen setup of my macbook.
But as sayed, resetting the settings helps nothing.

Yes, i was aware of the system preference settings.
There´s all set right. Plus i switched force and back now several times.

hmmm, what can i do ?
( i´m on a second hand macbook, i don´t have the original password.
I was able by plain luck to install the OSX ElCapitan as a "non-update", but i can´t just reinstall respectivly "update" my macbook in a common way.........plus i have NO clue of all this.......i´m out of any computer knowledge.....

?? ideas ?

Yes, I see there one MUCH related checkbox, but not others.
I played with the settings fourth and back with that one checkbox, inclouding restart which i at first trys ´ve not donne.
( The box must be checked, i´m clear on that , at least i think ;) )
Helps all nothing !

Thanks !
still clueless

the TOUCH so far only a expensive hardware dongle for the software........ well, not exactly as meant to be

Ok,
i have solved the Problem now !

I had to reinstall the MPC software.
then i got the first time a error message to see which guided me to the "MPC accessibility guide".
from there are you guided to (Mac): system preferences/ security and privacy/accessibility, and there you find a MPC Icon, this has to be enabled !

there you go, this evening, me: first time "Touching"

Thanks for the hands !
